Co-funded by ACC’s Workplace Injury Prevention Grant, RUSH is transforming manufacturing safety practices by implementing R/VISION, a computer vision AI solution for proactive risk prevention. This presentation shares insights from the first quarter of our two-year project that addresses the economic and social burden of work-related injuries in New Zealand’s manufacturing sector. Through real-world examples, we’ll demonstrate how technology is identifying potential risks before incidents occur, with particular focus on improving outcomes for Māori and Pasifika who are disproportionately affected.
